Statement imports

How to import statements automatically

Monitor automated statement collection, run an on-demand fetch and respond to import notifications.

An active automated importer can collect and process statement files without a manual upload.

Before you start

  • Confirm that the bank has an active automated importer for the current office.

  • Know the expected statement schedule so you can identify missing or late data.

Before relying on automation

  • Test and save the connection in Office Settings.

  • Confirm the remote folders, file action and bank permissions required by the importer.

  • Import or collect a representative statement and verify its accounts, dates and transactions.

  • Confirm who will monitor notifications and missing statement dates.

Fetch statements on demand

  1. Go to Settings > Office Settings > Importers.

  2. Open the automated importer's actions.

  3. Select Fetch new statements.

The fetch runs in the background. Flinq shows progress where available and sends an in-app notification when the job completes or fails.

Monitor the result

Review the importer's status and last-used time, then open Banking > Statements to confirm the expected dates and banks. A successful connection does not guarantee that the bank supplied every expected file.

If the importer is stale or failing

Test the connection, check whether the bank produced the file, and confirm that credentials, keys, certificates and remote paths remain valid. Review any partially imported or incomplete statements before fetching again.
