Organisation and office setup

How to add a new office

Create another office and configure its settings, access and available product features.

Katrin Erb Written by Katrin Erb Updated Published

Create an office when a separate entity, team or operating unit needs its own users, banking configuration and reporting context.

Before you start

  • You need permission to manage the organisation.

  • Choose the reporting currency, timezone and product features before inviting operational users.

Create the office

  1. Go to Settings > Organisation Settings.

  2. In Offices, select New office.

  3. Enter the office name and select its reporting currency.

  4. Choose a flag and, if needed, an office timezone. Leave the timezone empty to inherit the organisation setting.

  5. Enable the products required by the office, such as Interest Pooling, Books or Fixed Term Deposits. Additional settings appear only when their parent feature is enabled.

  6. Create the office.

Complete the setup

Flinq makes supported banks, currencies, importers and exporters available to the new office, but they still need to be activated and configured for use.

  1. Switch to the new office.

  2. Go to Settings > Office Settings.

  3. Review the feature settings.

  4. Activate the required banks and currencies.

  5. Activate and configure the required importers and exporters.

  6. Add office users and assign suitable roles.

Existing Organisation admins are added to the new office automatically and retain Organisation admin access.

Validate the new office

Import representative bank data, confirm that the expected accounts and branches appear, and sign in as an operational user. Check that the user sees the correct office, dashboard and product pages and can perform only the expected actions.
