Getting started with your first office

Complete the core office setup before importing data and starting operational work.

Your first office is normally provisioned during onboarding. Complete the settings below before users begin operational work.

1. Review organisation settings

Go to Settings > Organisation Settings and confirm the organisation name, reporting currency, timezone, default language and branding. Configure SSO only after a recovery administrator and test plan are ready. See How to configure your company theme and How to set up single sign-on (SSO) for the detailed tasks.

2. Review Office Settings

Go to Settings > Office Settings and confirm the office name, reporting currency, timezone and required features. Enable only the products the office will use.

3. Set up users and access

Go to Settings > Users to create users. Assign system or custom roles based on their responsibilities and keep at least one Organisation admin. See How to add users and assign roles.

4. Activate banking configuration

In Office Settings, activate the required banks and currencies. Activate and configure the importers and exporters used to exchange data with each bank. See How to activate a new bank relationship.

5. Import and review statement data

Import the first statement for each relationship. Confirm that the expected bank accounts and branches are created and that the statement passes validation. See How to import a statement.

6. Configure enabled products

7. Validate the setup

Sign in as a representative operational user and complete an end-to-end check.

Use the setup checklist as a control

Record who confirmed each area and test with a representative non-admin user. Feature settings and administrator access alone do not prove that operational roles, bank connections and downstream calculations are ready.
